They have the only multi-port charging station I have seen catering to just about every kind of charging plug I have seen for all kinds of devices- even when we forget our cords. The have more than a half dozen cords and even more plug-ins with super-fast FREE WI-FI.
Maybe so everyone will want to order hot coffee and tea LOL
The best cup of coffee I have ever tasted.
Good coffee and friendly service. There is usually a line to order but it moves fairly quickly.
Great atmosphere! 100% Kona coffee service and sold. Bagel and cream cheese was very tasty. Oatmeal is good as well.
So much better than Starbucks. Kona Latte with Vanilla. Not too sweet and has great flavor. Very spacious and open inside with table and seating both inside and outside. Lots of free parking which is nice. Going down the road towards the water and parking cost $$
I still can’t believe a decaf latte with almond milk was 8 dollars!!! I’ve never been up charged for having decaf. Definitely not a place I will want to go back to for that reason alone. The out door seating is nice but not like amazing.
the Acai bowl was icy. Not the best I had in Hawaii. Other than that really liked the tea and the space!
My go to spot when I'm home and want to grab a coffee and chat with friends. Staff are always friendly and helpful. And with Covid, everything is kept clean and sanitized.
Enjoyed a Mac Nut white mocha is was excellent.
I love this place not only for its amazing coffee, but for its heart. Kona Coffee & Tea the center of our community. This family owned business not only provides excellent job training for our youth but it exemplifies how connected to the land we are. This shop proudly celebrates the Farm to Cup movement and advocates the importance of Kona Coffee in the global market. I will be a KCTC believer for life!
Kona Coffee and Tea Company is a Kona mainstay for both locals and tourists. Truly its’ name does not do it justice. This cafe offers a little bit of everything! Coffee, wine, kombucha, and even beer. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Aside from sustenance Kona Coffee also serves to host local events, as well as a place to publicize events.
Fantastic service and delicious coffee. Thank you. Was a bit disappointed that despite me specifically staying in store to avoid using takeaway plastic, my iced latte arrived in plastic anyway as they “didn’t have enough glasses”. The store was not even at half capacity of patrons and of those, I only saw one other person drinking an iced latte. I think it’s worth investing in a few more glass cups.
Its a nice place, I was a regular in the past...but, the coffee today was not "full flavored" kona, I hate to use the word weak, but it was not the best cup of coffee I have had here. I will be back to update my opinion, I hope.Incidentally, the wifi speed has been downgraded to around 7 up 6 dow, i.e. same as your cellplan max :(
Pro: its open early for divers! Its an amazing local coffee shop that roast their own beans. Con: nothing reallyWe ordered the papaya chiaAcai bowl and a cortado. The coffee beans is definitively dark roast which was nice with the full bitter flavour of caffeine :)
air conditioning inside, nice covered deck seating outside. Good coffee too.
Very good coffee! Nice outside seating. Sometimes hard to park, sometimes hard to find a seat.
Amazing local coffee and tea, nice environment and good WiFi. I love that they have so many plant based milk options. I just wish they had an unsweetened version of those milks!
"Cultivating Community" is what the Kona Coffee & Tea Company promotes and advertises. And they Kona good job of loving up to this noble and worthy cause.Centrally located and very welcoming.Recently attended a Latin Dance Class after hours. It was great! They Dona lot more for the Community too like hosting Festivals and Fundraisers.
Friendly staff, good macchiato, delicious granola with berries. It's behind the KFC, but don't let that dissuade you for visiting.
Very good products. Coffee program was on point and prepared with care and aplomb during a rush. Place has a good feel but most important, coffee is really good.
Great Cafe with all of your standard coffee options and a smallish but tasty selection of eats. The latte I had was good. The salmon /lox deluxe bagel was quite good. Plenty of seating both indoors and out on the lanai.
I'm a coffee drinker, love to drink it everyday. So far this is the best coffee I've ever tried. We were in Kailua for 8 days and every morning I will drive to them to get my cup of energy. Even if I have to drive 1 hour every day just to have that taste of that coffee i would do it. Great customer service.
A group of us stopped for coffee and some snacks on the way to the beach everyone seemed happy and personally my coffee was great....
This place has seriously good coffee! If you're from NZ or Australia this is the place you want to come to. A must if you love coffee. The barista really knows what he's doing and the rest of the staff are lovely. Great selection of coffees and really nice small food menu too. Loved it!
We couldn’t get enough of this place, coffee is great and the acai bowls were amazing!
Nice cozy place on a Sunday afternoon. Delicious flat white with macadamia milk as they had no so. Ac inside. Also tables outside. Easy parking. Free wifi
Quick and friendly service, tasty coffee. They have AC inside the shop, indoor and outdoor seating provided. Very charming and chill coffee shop.
Locally owned coffee shop that uses real Kona coffee. This place is great. Delicious beverages that will make you wonder why you ever went to starbucks! A great first stop on your journey through Kona.
Good Kona cold brew for $4-4.50
The coffee here is a little to bitter for me but the rest of the people in my group loved it. It was a fun and new experience and I would do it over again if I had the chance I would pick a tea next time. They are fun and Interesting market places around here. Definitely a nice place to check out when you're out on vacation.
The coffee is good, and the staff friendly and helpful. It's overrun by tourists most of the time due to the dearth of good options nearby, and the service can be slow. Hit it up at 7 am though and you'll never be disappointed. Sometimes I wish they had more food options and better pastries, but it's not really their strength. But then I remember that it's still the best and most accessible coffee in town and I'm very happy they moved in to the former Starbucks location.
So I went here for coffee and got an expresso shake as a morning beverage. That was -not- a morning beverage, it was a delicious and creamy dessert. It was one of the best milkshakes I've ever had, with a smooth taste and the espresso is clearly top notch, but next time I'll save it for a treat day!
Favorite coffee shop on the big island! We went several times during our trip and grabbed beans and tea to take home. Try their cold brew coffee or spicy mocha. Staff are great, very friendly and efficient service. Loved the tree slices for table tops, nice touch!
Best chai ever. And the staff are friendly and competent. Watch I not only tasted wonderful but it was beautifully made. A piece of artwork
I LOVED the frozen mocha drink! One of the best I've ever had. Tasted amazing.
Lovely place for breakfast and tea. The cocochia parfait was delicious and my tea with macadamia milk was perfect. Yum!
Super awesome crew.....great coffee and tea....really cool place to relax and hangout while you enjoy a treat and your prefered beverage. Unlike the big globalist coffee chains, it is refreshing not be smacked around by propaganda. Cold AC too!
Would not make a 20oz latte. charged me for 16oz and 2 extra shots (should be 4oz of extra espresso), but refused to fill my mug with enough steamed milk. I had to ADD cold cream to an 8 dollar latte. Wow.
Best chai latte I've ever had!
Great place for Coffee Tea and Snacks plus very fast Wi-Fi with complimentary plug-in and charging station cords of all kinds. They have an outdoor Lanai (porch) and livemisic every week plus dancing lessons
Loved it. One of the first places I've ever seen bulletproof coffee and the sandwiches are really tasty. I'll go again while I'm visiting the big island.
Kona produces amazing coffee, so why was it so hard to find decent baristas on this island?? This was the first coffee spot that we got legit coffee in Kona. If you're used to great coffee, go here!
Definitely make a stop at this awesome cafe. Friendly staff, delicious coffee, excellent atmosphere, and the acai bowl was totally incredible. Don't miss it!!
Just love this great family owned place. Curated coffees plantation to store.
Great cold brew and good variety of coffee/tea offerings. Had a breakfast sandwich... I do not recommend it. I've had frozen microwave sandwiches with the exact same ingredient that were better.... And MUCH cheaper. Good coffee, hot food could use some work.
A delightful surprise coming here! Besides coffee, they also offer an excellent grilled cheese sandwich with the fluffiest and freshest bread along with very decent wines such as a vinho Verde. Ice cold AC and very nice staff. Everyone seems happy!
Delicious coffee, friendly staff and a super cute little coffe shop
Great staff .. good food.
Amazing customer service an very friendly staff. The coffee is premium an just absolutely amazing. 10/10 would recommend for the kona experience. Not to mention the amazing customers as well. Every one is always smiling an happy.
Nice people, great atmosphere, and probably the smoothest cup of coffee I've ever had! Not the cheapest, but worth every penny!
